1-1-1: Treat Life Like a Game
1 visual, 1 idea, and 1 question for this week.
Happy Thursday!
Here are 1 visual, 1 idea, and 1 question to explore this week.
VISUAL OF THE WEEK

THE BIG IDEA
One of the most powerful shifts I’ve made in my life was this:
I stopped treating everything so seriously and I started treating life like a game. That doesn’t mean I don’t care. It means I approach everything, especially the hard stuff, with a different lens.
One that gives me more power, not less.
When you treat life like a game, you stop seeing problems as punishments and start seeing them as challenges. Each one becomes an opportunity to level up.
The things that trigger you?
That frustrate you?
That make you doubt yourself?
Those are just tests.
And if you can learn the lesson in front of you, you unlock the next version of yourself.
The biggest difference is how you relate to failure. In a game, when you fail, you don’t make it personal. You don’t shut down and quit. You just try again. This time with more experience.
That’s all failure really is: feedback. Information. A new piece of the map.
But in life, most people treat failure like proof that they’re not enough. They stop trying because they’re afraid of being seen not getting it right on the first try.
If you’re not trying at all, you’re already losing.
The people who win aren’t the ones who never fail. They’re the ones who keep showing up. They fall forward. They take notes. They get better. And they don’t let a rough round convince them they don’t belong in the game.
Imposter syndrome is part of this too. And ironically, it’s a good sign. Because when you feel like an imposter, it usually means you’ve stepped into a new level. One you haven’t mastered yet.
It’s not a signal that you’re a fraud.
It’s a sign that you’re growing.
So when life throws resistance your way, remember this:
You can stack your failures like stepping stones, or you can stack them like a wall. One gets you closer. The other keeps you stuck.
Perspective makes the difference.
